Little Sprinkles

We love any reason to celebrate. Our little sprinkles theme came to life when one of our very own was turning 6 months old, we wanted to make it a memorable milestone just as every other birthday so we decided to celebrate with a half birthday party.

A half birthday party to us meant half the size with our decor and it was a must to incorporate pink and sprinkles. We knew we wanted our dessert table to stand out; when we plan, we always brainstorm and think of ways to bring out at least one statement DIY design. We decided on a DIY linen by hand dipping it in light pink food colouring to bring a unique factor to our little sprinkles theme & we also DIY our table legs pink.

No party is a party without a fabulous invitation, an invitation is the first peak into your celebration of your idea and theme of the party. Having the best invitation will leave your guests wondering what is to come.

When we think half birthday we think half the cake, our main celebration cake was pilled high with sprinkles and a glittery white cake topper in a gorgeous script font reading "happy 6m". A birthday party is better with lots of cake, included on our dessert table were two 4" round cakes, one with a dash of sprinkles and another dripping pink icing to tie into our theme.

Sugar sugar in cookie form added to our half birthday theme, the details on these cookies were simply fabulous with so many unique designs and of course sprinkles.

For our backdrop we wanted to keep it simple but still pretty which we choose 36" pink heart balloons and matching tassels. When you have balloons, tassels are a must and add so much more to the balloons.

Our mini place setting for four is like no other, our pink plush pillows instead of chairs, white square plates acted as our chargers topped with clear plates, which allowed the sprinkles in-between to shine through to keep with our theme. Clear mini cups and straws were a perfect hit and we finished off our table with mini clear confetti balloons as our centerpieces placed in glass vases & sprinkles.

Every little girls birthday requires a mini photoshoot to capture her special day. A plain white mini cake and a sparkly pink script cake topper added to the little details we love & of course no birthday is a birthday without a candle.
